Château Chantemerle's 2016 red wine La Perle is a blend of three grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. On the palate, it's a powerful wine with a fine balance between acidity and tannins. It goes well with poultry, beef or game. Château Chantemerle's La Perle is one of the Médoc's top 10 wines.

TASTING COMMENTS
Aged 18 months in tightly grained oak barrels, with no racking for the last twelve months. The wine has kept its youthful, deep ruby color, a complex nose of ripe red berries, all tinged with lovely vanilla notes brought out by fine oak.

To obtain the best wine in terms of flavor and aroma, after careful selection, we decided to use a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot grapes. These varieties grow in the heart of the Médoc and characterize the aromatic structure and elegance of this excellent wine.
