The Médoc Château Chantemerle 2016 is a red wine with a beautiful ruby-red color with garnet highlights. Its powerful, well-balanced nose reveals complex aromas of ripe red fruit jam, black fruit, spices and flowers, finishing on mineral notes. This Cru Bourgeois is full-bodied and fruity, with a tannic structure worthy of a great long-keeping wine!

This black wine with purplish highlights expresses all its maturity on a great terroir. The nose is rich and complex. It blends notes of black fruit with an elegant woody touch. A fine wine with undeniable ageing potential.

- MACERATION : 21 to 28 days
- FERMENTATION: 28° to 32° C
- TEMPERATURE CONTROL : Stainless steel tanks
BLENDING
- 60% Cabernet Sauvignon
- 35% Merlot
- 3% Petit Verdot
- 2% Cabernet Franc
To obtain the best wine in terms of flavor and aroma, after careful selection, we decided to use a blend composed mainly of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with a few pinches of Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. These varieties grow in the heart of the Médoc and characterize the aromatic structure and elegance of this excellent wine.
